NGCP raises yellow, red alerts for Visayas grid

MANILA, Philippines — The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) issued red, and yellow alerts for the Visayas grid on Tuesday, as some power plants again went offline with electricity demand expected to be huge in the island group. In its advisory, NGCP said the yellow alert would be up between 3 p.
