Happy Travel and Tours Corporation opened its door for business in April 1, 1984. 1984 was a time of recovery after a tumultuous year when its President, Mr. Willy Tan, together with his wife and also the General Manager, Ms Mary Sia Tan conceptualized it as an independent entity that has expertise in travel, and airline and hotel operations. Armed only with their collective years of valuable experience in the tourism industry and the support of the family, they were able to establish a travel agency that will eventually become one of the major players of the tourism industry of the Philippines.
