Dr. Beltran Alexis Aclan

Dr. Beltran Alexis A. Aclan is a board-certified specialist in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. He earned his medical degree and Master’s Degree in Health Care Management from the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center (UERMMMC), where he now serves as Assistant Professor, Vice-Chair for Residency Training, and Head of the Hospital Informatics Unit. He completed his ophthalmology residency and fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology at the Department of Health Eye Center – East Avenue Medical Center. Dr. Aclan is a fellow of the Philippine Academy of Ophthalmology and currently serves as Public Relations Officer of the Philippine Society of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. He is also a Consultant Member of the Technical Working Group on the National Eye Health Program of the Department of Health in the Philippines, and an active consultant at the country’s two government pediatric hospitals — the National Children’s Hospital and the Philippine Children’s Medical Center.
