Carla Nimer

For the past six years, I have worked as a psychometrician in a school setting, where I administer, score, and interpret a wide range of psychological and educational assessments. My responsibilities include evaluating students’ cognitive, academic, and emotional functioning to support appropriate interventions and educational planning. I also conduct initial and intake interviews as part of the counseling process, helping gather essential background information to better understand students’ concerns. This role complements my ongoing graduate studies in Guidance and Counseling, enhancing my ability to support students’ academic and personal development. I work closely with guidance counselors, teachers, and parents to ensure data-informed decisions and contribute to the development of individualized support plans, while upholding professional and ethical testing standards.
