About the Doctor

Dr. Carlo Artiaga is a Diplomate of the Philippine Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the International Council of Ophthalmology. He completed his medical education from the University of the Philippines in 2015 and his ophthalmology residency training from the UP - Philippine General Hospital in 2018. He finished his clinical subspecialty training in Medical Retina and Uveitis from Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, United Kingdom in 2022 and continued further training in Surgical Retina at the UP - Philippine General Hospital. Dr. Artiaga specializes in the monitoring, medical treatment and surgical management of diabetic eye diseases and age-related macular degeneration. He is also trained in the management of inflammatory eye conditions in adults and children, and interested in inherited retinal diseases such as retinitis pigmentosa.
