Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases
Diane Marie Dizon-Amil, MD, DPCP, DPSMID is an internal medicine specialist who also subspecializes in adult infectious diseases. As an infectious diseases subspecialist, she treats adults with conditions caused by viruses, bacteria, fungi and parasites. This includes the outpatient and inpatient treatment of patients with HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs), skin and soft tissue infections, urinary tract infections, respiratory infections (such as pneumonia and tuberculosis) and tropical diseases (such as dengue fever), bacteremia and sepsis, among others. She has special interests in transplant infectious diseases and infection prevention and control. Dr. Dizon-Amil is board-certified in both internal medicine and adult infectious diseases. As such, she is a diplomate of the Philippine College of Physicians and the Philippine Society for Microbiology and Infectious Diseases. She is also a part-time lecturer at the Adventist University of the Philippines College of Medicine.
