Dr. Gilmyr Jude Marañon

Dr. Gilmyr Jude G. Marañon is a board-certified colorectal surgeon and currently serves as the Head of the Division of Colorectal Surgery and the Quality Management Team at St. Luke’s Medical Center – Quezon City, under the Institute of Surgery. He is also an Asst. Professor at St. Luke’s Medical Center - College of Medicine. He completed his fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at St. Luke’s and underwent international training at King Chulalongkorn University Hospital in Bangkok and the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney. His general surgery residency, where he served as Chief Resident, was likewise completed at St. Luke’s. Dr. Marañon is a Fellow of the Philippine Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, the Philippine College of Surgeons, the Philippine Society of General Surgeons, Philippine Association of Laparoscopic and Endoscopic Surgeons, and the American College of Surgeons. He is a diplomate of the Philippine Board of Surgery, the Philippine Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery, and the Philippine Board of Advanced Minimally Invasive Surgery. He maintains his clinical practice at both St. Luke’s Medical Center – Quezon City and Global City, and continues to be actively involved in surgical education, multidisciplinary care, and quality improvement initiatives.
