Dr. Jeryl Yu

Dr. Jeryl Yu is a neurologist who specializes in Parkinson’s disease, dystonia, tremor, tics, and other movement disorders. Her expertise includes neurotoxin injections (Botox) for dystonia and spasticity, and advanced therapeutic modalities such as deep brain stimulation. She also has a special interest in dementia, disorders of thinking and mood, gait and balance disorders, and sleep-related movement disorders. She has multiple publications on her research interests, including safety for hospitalized patients with Parkinson’s disease, functional neurologic disorders, novel diagnostics of cognitive disorders, and genetics of Parkinson’s disease and other rare neurodegenerative disorders.
