Dr. John De Castro

Dr. John De Castro is a Board Certified Physiatrist trained at the University of the Philippines–Philippine General Hospital. He pursued advanced fellowship training in Interventional Musculoskeletal Ultrasound and Regenerative Sports Medicine under the mentorship of Dr. Toru Omodani at Tokyo Advanced Orthopaedics and Professor Junsuke Nakase at Kanazawa University Hospital. His clinical expertise spans the management of sports and degenerative musculoskeletal conditions (such as arthritis and degenerative tears), with a strong foundation in ultrasound-guided interventions to ensure safety, precision for optimal recovery. He is also dedicated to comprehensive rehabilitation care, including stroke recovery, other neurological rehabilitation, perioperative functional conditioning, etc. Dr. De Castro remains committed to restoring movement and improving quality of life through evidence-based, patient-centered care.
