He is a Board Certified Interventional Gastroenterologist, Liver Disease Specialist, Subspecialty Exam Board Topnotcher and World Record Holder. He took his Pre-Med and Medicine at the University of Santo Tomas, Manila. He finished his Gastroenterology Fellowship at Cardinal Santos Medical Center, San Juan, Manila. He has 3 International Fellowship trainings with Center of Excellence Accreditation from the World Endoscopy Organization and Asian EUS Group. Interventional Gastroenterology/Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy Fellowship in ERCP and Basic EUS at Universiti Malaya Medical Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia under the world famous Prof. KL Goh. Endoscopic Ultrasonography (EUS) Fellowship in the Institute of Digestive and Liver Care, School of EUS, SL Raheja Hospital, Mumbai, India under the prominent Prof. Vinay Dhir. He just recently completed his Obesity and Bariatric Endoscopy (Endoscopic Sleeve Gastroplasty) Fellowship in India.
