Dra. Carrie has been in practice for over 30 years for general dermatology, cosmetic, and procedural dermatology. She trained abroad for liposuction surgery, varicose vein treatment, and other dermatologic procedures. She frequently lectures locally and abroad. Her cases and research have been published in books and journals. In addition to her roles in the medical profession, she has held many positions such as Barangay Captain Dasmarinas Village (1989-2007), President of Makati Medical Society (2003-2004), President, Philippine Academy of Dermatologic Surgery Foundation Inc (2017-2019). Her work has been recognized and she has received numerous awards such as Icasiano Award (2004), Leadership award from PMA (2004), UERMMMC Most Outstanding Alumni Award for Leadership (2019), PMA Most Outstanding Physician Award for Philippine Academy of Dermatologic Surgery Foundation Inc.
