Dr. Rogelio Velasco Jr.

I finished my medical degree at the University of the Philippines-College of Medicine. I then pursued my training at the Philippine General Hospital as a specialist in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. I treat common malignancies such as breast cancer, colon cancer, lung cancer, lymphoma, head and neck cancer, and other malignancies. I also aim to provide comfort to cancer patients who have cancer-related symptoms such as pain, difficulty of breathing, loss of appetite, weight loss, etc. I obtained my clinical observership and travelling fellowship at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York in lung cancer, breast cancer, gastrointestinal cancer, gynecologic cancers, lymphoma, and supportive care. I attended an observership in lung cancer at the San Luigi Hospital, University of Turino (Turin, Italy). I am affiliated with the Philippine Heart Center, Lung Center of the Philippines, Capitol Medical Center, St. Lukes Medical Center (QC), and the National Kidney and Transplant Institute.
